There was once a time when pretty much every airline had a baby privilege, which allowed families with young children to get on to a plane first, as they have so much more to do than those people without children. However, it seems that there are some airlines which have decided that people with babies no longer deserve to get on a plane first, as they would rather make money from selling that privilege.

Hollywood actress Zooey Deschanel has experienced this first hand, admitting that she was looking forward to getting on the plane early so that she could get her baby on and settled. However, she was not impressed when she was told that this no longer happens, which has led to Zooey calling for more airlines to bring back those baby privileges.
Deschanel was a guest on Ellen when she said, "Travelling I think is really hard. She's great on a plane but they stop letting people go first with babies and there's so much stuff. I was really excited about this privilege that you get to go on first if you have a baby. The first time we went on a plane with her I was like, 'OK, we're ready!' and they (the staff) were like, 'No, you can't come on (yet)... The people who get on first pay a lot of money for this privilege.'"

As far as her acting career is concerned, Zooey Deschanel lends her voice to the character Bridget in the new animated movie Trolls, which is out now in the UK and is set to hit the big screen in the US on November 4.
