There are so many eagerly anticipated movies set to hit the big screen over the course of the next few years, with a lot of comic book movies coming our from both Marvel and DC, much to the delight of fans around the world. One of the most eagerly anticipated movies of the whole bunch, would have to be the Suicide Squad movie, which opens next year.
Suicide Squad is coming to the big screen
Suicide Squad boasts a very impressive cast, which includes Jared Leto taking on the role of The Joker and Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, which has fans very excited indeed. Jared decided to get all of his co-stars a rather interesting and unique present, which included getting a rat for Margot, which she has since decided to keep as a pet.
Robbie appears on the cover of the latest issue of Elle magazine and, in the accompanying interview she was asked what made her choose to keep "Rat Rat" as a pet. In a response which is sure to please comic book fans, the actress explained, "If Harley [her character in Suicide Squad] got something from Joker, she'd probably cherish it."
Jared Leto is The Joker
As well as starring Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn and Jared Leto as The Joker, we will also see Will Smith as Deadshot, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, and Karen Fukuhara as Katana, among others. Suicide Squad opens on August 5, 2016 in both the US and the UK.
