Hollywood veteran Bruce Willis has been doing the action hero thing for many years now, appearing in a whole host of action movies, giving us some of the biggest heroes on the cinema screen to date. While there was a period where Bruce wanted to take on some more dramatic roles and really show his acting range, he has since returned to his action hero roots, where it looks like he could stay for some time yet.
One of the biggest roles that Bruce Willis has ever played, and arguably one of the most iconic characters in cinema history, is that of John McClane in the Die Hard movies, where he has appeared in five Die Hard films to date. Despite the fact that the last movie A Good Day to Die Hard was panned by fans and critics, it still managed to be a huge hit at the box office, leading to another new Die Hard movie being talked about.
This time though, it sounds like they are going to take things back to way before we first saw John McClane doing his thing, with the planned film Die Hard Year One, which is set to focus on the origin story of the legendary character. It is claimed that Bruce Willis will have a cameo appearance in the film but will it be the last time that we see him in a Die Hard film?
As well as having Bruce Willis linked to a cameo appearance in Die Hard Year One, it has also been suggested that we could see Len Wiseman taking on the directing duties for the movie. With that said though, the project is still in the very early stages and we could see a lot changing before another Die Hard film ever sees the light of die.
