When it was announced that there was a movie coming out titled Sharknado and that it would star Tara Reid, not too many people had high hopes for it. However, Sharknado ended up becoming a surprise success and Tara has admitted that there have been some discussions about a Sharknado sequel being made.
Reid was talking to the Radio Times, when she said, "I don't even know if there really is a sequel. [But] there's talk that the whole family gets together again and we go to Aspen and there's, like, global warming as we're skiing, all of a sudden it goes from -20 to 90 degrees."
She added, "The glaciers come down and there's, like, dinosaur sharks and they come alive again and they're eating everyone. And because of all of the water coming down the mountain they're like, killing people in the street... We'll see."
Sharknado became a huge hit in the US earlier this month, when it managed to rake in an impressive 1.4 million viewers and took Twitter by storm. It will be interesting to see if Sharknado has the same impact, when the movie is released in the UK on August 7 on SyFy.
