The career of Selena Gomez has been a very interesting one to date, with the star rising to fame as a Disney child, before going on to enjoy a successful solo career in the music industry, as well as proving herself as an actress in Hollywood. Meanwhile, actor Paul Rudd is getting a lot of attention at the moment, as he prepares to hit the big screen in the Marvel movie Ant-Man, which opens this year.
Now though, the two stars are preparing to come together to star in the new, movie adaptation of The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving, which is coming to the big screen. Paul Rudd and Selena Gomez will join forces to begin shooting The Revisied Fundamentals of Caregiving in Atlanta today, where Paul actually shot a lot of his scenes for the Ant-Man movie.
Anyway, for those of you who are not too familiar with The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving, the movie has been described as "the friendship of Ben Benjamin (Paul Rudd) and a young adult, Trevor (Craig Roberts), stricken with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Selena Gomez will play Dot, who joins the two men on a road trip and develops a crush on the latter."
As well as starring Selena Gomez, Paul Rudd, and Craig Roberts, The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving cast also includes Megan Ferguson, Robert Walker Branchaud, and Ashley White. The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving is directed by Rob Burnett, who adapted the screenplay for the movie from the Jonathan Evison novel.
