While it is fair that Hollywood actor Seann William Scott will forever be remembered for playing the role of Stifler in the American Pie movies, he has also played plenty of other interesting roles in some rather impressive movies. One role that really saw Seann excel, was the 2011 movie Goon, which was so impressive that it was given the green light for a sequel.
Shooting for the Goon sequel, which has been officially titled Goon: Last of the Enforcers, took place earlier in the year and the project is now in the post-production stages, waiting to be given an official release date. While there has not yet been any word of when Goon: Last of the Enforcers will hit the big screen, it is expected that it will open some time in 2016.
As well as not knowing when the movie is going to get released, there is also not a great deal known about the plot of Goon: Last of the Enforcers, with the plot being kept underwraps for now. With that said, the movie sequel has been described as "During a pro lockout, The Thug's (Seann William Scott) team, the Halifax Highlanders, reunites with a bunch of new players."
As well as starring Seann William Scott in the lead role for the movie, the rest of the Goon: Last of the Enforcers cast features such top Hollywood stars as Elisha Cuthbert, Alison Pill, Kim Coates, Jay Baruchel, and T.J. Miller. As well as appearing in the movie, Jay Baruchel also wrote the screenplay for Goon: Last of the Enforcers, as well as directing the film.
