British beauty Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has enjoyed a long and successful career in the entertainment industry, keeping things fresh by mixing things up with her career over the past few years. As well as becoming one of the biggest and best models on the face of the Earth, Rosie has also tried her hand at acting along the way.
We first saw Rosie Huntington-Whiteley on the big screen in the 2011 movie Transformers: Dark of the Moon, although she did not exactly receive much praise for her performance in the movie. Rosie then returned to the big screen earlier in the year, playing the role of The Splendid Angharad in Mad Max: Fury Road, although she insists that she has no plans to continue acting.
Huntington-Whiteley appears in the September issue of Harper's Bazaar, and in the accompanying interview, she explained, "Will I do another movie? I don’t know. It’s not something I’m actively pursuing or have a lot of headspace for at this time. Which was always my attitude with Transformers and Mad Max, you know."
She added, "I never set out to be an actress. I was in the right place at the right time; I was asked to do an audition and then doors opened. I think you’re really lucky to get asked to do something new, and to be paid to do it, so I jumped at both opportunities. But I definitely would not call myself an actress."
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley gave a very solid performance in Mad Max: Fury Road and we are sure that she will get more acting offers in the future, so it will be interesting to see whether she will actually return to the big screen in the future or not.
