So here we go again. Following the news that we are getting a Gotham City Sirens movie and that it is pretty much a given that we will get a new Poison Ivy in the film, there have been plenty of suggestions about which actress should play the role. We have been doing a knockout competition of the actresses we think could play Poison Ivy and, following Jessica Chastain and Bryce Dallas Howard fighting it out last time, today we take a look at Stephanie Corneliussen and Ruth Wilson.
Stephanie Corneliussen
First up we take a look at the Danish actress Stephanie Corneliussen, who has been enjoying a growing reputation in Hollywood over the past few years. Stephanie has been very impressive in her role in the hit television series Mr Robot and, while she certainly has the look and the acting talent to pull off the role of Poison Ivy in Gotham City Sirens, she has also admitted that she would love to play the character.
Ruth Wilson
Actress Ruth Wilson has been working hard in Hollywood for many years now, appearing in a whole host of television shows and movies along the way, although she is still waiting for that huge breakout role, and what could be better than playing Poison Ivy in the Gotham City Sirens film? Ruth has all the attributes required to play Poison Ivy, with some fans insisting that there are not many more perfect casting options around.
When you look at the history of these two beautiful and talented stars, and factor in who the fans have been laying their backing behind, then it looks like Ruth Wilson would be the much more popular choice to take on the role of Poison Ivy in Gotham City Sirens.
