There world over music has seen a huge number of boybands coming and going over the years and it is fair to say that, the British boyband One Direction are not only the biggest boyband on the planet right now but are also, arguably, the biggest boyband ever to walk the face of the Earth. However, the One Direction boys, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan, had a rather interesting journey to the top.
We recently brought you the story of how Harry Styles made it into the boyband One Direction and today we are bringing you the story of Liam Payne. As most of you will already know, Liam Payne first auditioned for The X Factor back in 2008 as a 14-year-old and made it all the way to judges houses. Unfortunately Simon Cowell did not think he was quite ready and told Liam to come back in a couple of years.
Liam Payne did just that and returned to The X Factor in 2010, when he blew away the judges in his first audition and managed to get through to bootcamp, where his dream seemed to once again come to an end. Someone came up with the idea of putting One Direction together but Liam was not interested at the start, as he was eager to become a solo star but, after some persuading he agreed to join up with the others.
It was certainly a wise move by Liam Payne, as One Direction impressed head judge Simon Cowell at judges houses, before going through to the live shows, where they finished third, before going on to superstardom. Liam has since gone on to write a number of the One Direction tracks, as well as penning the song I Won't Break You for X Factor judge Cheryl Cole.
We hope for many more years of success for Liam Payne and, when the One Direction boys do finally call it a day, we have no doubt that he will go on to enjoy the successful solo career that he has always dreamed of.
