Hollywood actress Olivia Wilde is among the most beautiful women on the face of the planet but it seems that even she can be rejected for roles for some very amusing reasons. Olivia has revealed how she was rejected for a role in the movie The Wolf of Wall Street for being too old, with the role eventually going to the Australian actress Margot Robbie.
During a recent interview, Wilde explained, "The funniest thing I heard recently was, I had heard for a part that I was 'too sophisticated,' and I was like, 'Oh, that sounds nice. I like that feedback. I didn't get that part, but I'm a very sophisticated person.' Then I found out later that they actually said 'old.'"
While Olivia Wilde did also go on to claim that, once she has been rejected for a role she no longer cares about it and removes it completely from her mind, she did also talk about moving on from rejection. Olivia says that everything happens for a reason and if she had not been rejected for the Wolf of Wall Street role then she might not have ever landed her role in Vinyl.
Wilde added, "It shows that if you don't get something, job interview, whatever you do for a living, it might lead to something else," before then taking to her official Twitter account to say, "My point about not being cast in "Wolf o W-Street" was that we have to trust the process because I ended up with my dream job on "Vinyl". 👍" Sound advice, Olivia!
Vinyl is currently well into its first season and has already been renewed for a second season.
