After struggling to get their act together in recent years, it seems that the DC Extended Universe might finally be moving in the right direction, if the recent reviews about the Wonder Woman movie are anything to go by. With that in mind, the DC movie that we have been most excited about seeing, is the Aquaman movie, as they are going to have to do something special with the film, especially for those underwater scenes.
Australian actress Nicole Kidman takes on the role of Queen Atlanna in the Aquaman movie, and the actress has been talking about what drew her to the role. Nicole says that her friendship with director James Wan was one of the key points to her accepting the role, and that she has loved every minute of being involved in the project ever since.
Kidman was recently chatting to Deadline about the Aquaman movie, when she told them, "Well, James Wan is Australian, and he's a friend of mine. I think he's going to make an amazing movie. We've always circled each other, so when he came to me, I was like, 'James, I'll do anything for you.' When he said 'female warrior from the sea' who wears mother of pearl, I went, 'Yes. Female warrior from the sea. Me like."
Former Game of Thrones actor Jason Momoa takes on the lead role of Arthur Curry aka Aquaman in the DC movie, which is expected to hit the big screen on December 21, 2018 in both the US and the UK.
