Actress Malin Akerman has been in the acting industry for quite some time now and she has certainly given us some very strong performances in some top movies along the way. Malin has a number of new and exciting projects coming up over the course of the next few years, including her new comedy horror film The Final Girls.
Earlier this week, Malin Akerman attended the New York Comic Con to help promote The Final Girls and it seems that she was hiding a little secret from people. It turns out that Malin was suffering from food poisoning at the time but was eager to show how proud she is of her new film, by attending the convention.
No doubt there are plenty of you out there who already know plenty about the new movie, but for those of you wanting to know more, The Final Girls has been officially described as, "A young woman grieving the loss of her mother, a famous scream queen from the 1980s, finds herself pulled into the world of her mom's most famous movie. Reunited, the women must fight off the film's maniacal killer."
As well as featuring Malin Akerman, this interesting film also boasts plenty of other exciting names, including the likes of Adam DeVine, Taissa Farmiga, Alia Shawkat, Alexander Ludwig, and Nina Dobrev, among others. The Final Girls has been directed by Todd Strauss-Schulson and, after months of festivals and conventions, the movie was finally released in the US earlier in the week.
