The comic book movies have been taking over in Hollywood for the past few years now and, while the Marvel Cinematic Universe is leading the way on the comic book movie scene, the DC Extended Universe is trying its best to catch up, with a number of new movies lined up for the next few years, with plenty of Hollywood stars wanting to land a role in a comic book film.
Hollywood beauty Lindsay Lohan has admitted that she wants to make a return to the big time and she has already been linked to a number of different characters in the DCEU. As well as being linked to the possible role of Poison Ivy in the Gotham City Sirens movie, there have also been plenty of fans who have backed her to play Catwoman in the same film.
Now, the actress herself has come out and admitted that she would love to star in a DC movie, with Lindsay Lohan saying that she would love to play the role of Barbara Gordon in the planned Joss Whedon Batgirl film. Lindsay took to her official Twitter account to tell her fans and followers, "RT if I should star in the new BATGIRL movie and everyone tell @joss 😘❤️".
We would not be against Lindsay Lohan playing a comic book character in a supporting role or a co-lead, but for her to take on the lead role in the Batgirl movie, we are not sure whether it would be the best move at all. With that said, Lindsay was once considered one of the most promising, up and coming actresses in Hollywood, so if she can refind that talent, it could well work.
