Hollywood beauty Kristen Stewart has had a rather up and down personal life and movie career but it seems that she always manages to find a way to keep coming back out on top, which is definitely the case with how things are going at the moment. While we have got to enjoy the acting career of Kristen since she was just a young girl, it now looks like she is taking her career in a new direction, opening up plenty of new doors for her.
Kristen Stewart has now made the move into writing and directing and has been working hard on her directorial debut, which she also penned the screenplay for. Kristen directs the new short film Come Swim and, as well as talking about what it was like to direct her first projects, she also spoke about some of the other female directors in the business, who do not get enough praise or credit.
Stewart explained, "People who are much more talented and inspired couldn't ever have the opportunity to make a short film for the amount of money I was given to make this. I had eight days to shoot it. It was the most comfy process."
She added, "The coolest female directors I've ever worked with are such compulsive freaks. The female artists who do the best work, they're just so focused that nothing is going to get in their way. It's hard to talk about, because you need to talk about it to change it, but at the same time it's like, 'Just do it'."
Fans of Kristen Stewart need not worry about her quitting her acting career though, as she already has plenty of projects lined up for the future and will continue to take on new acting projects in the future.
