Music superstar Kelly Clarkson has been one of the biggest and best names on the music scene, ever since she won the heart of the nation by becoming the first and the original American Idol, before then going on to take her talents worldwide. These days, Kelly is a global superstar and she continues to sell millions of records all over the world.
With Christmas approaching, talk turns to those classic Christmas tunes, with Kelly Clarkson releasing her Christmas album Wrapped in Red back in 2013, something which she clearly enjoyed doing. Now, Kelly has been talking about the possibility of releasing a new Christmas album, admitting that she would be up for doing one full of duets.
During a recent chat with the folks over at Entertainment Tonight, Clarkson said, "I will listen to Christmas music in June, I'm weird. I could listen to Bing Crosby's record, Mariah Carey's record, or hell, I love my record. I just love Christmas music. It's such a classic sound. I know it sounds so weird but I loved that album."
She added, "I had so much fun making that, all the musicians in it were crazy good. Since I've already done a full Christmas album, it's be fun to pick some of my favourite singers and maybe do like a duet thing. That would be cool! But after doing a classic Christmas album, I feel like it'd be hard to beat, just because of how it all came to be."
Well we would definitely be one of the first in line should there ever be another Kelly Clarkson Christmas album.
