Keira Knightley's fans and entertainment media publications are very excited about the news that she has given birth to her first child, a girl and that news is creating much interest about her future film and family plans (Daily Mail - June 5).

She has made no secret of the fact that she has always wanted a family but in the same regard has no plans to be a 'stay-at-home' Mom shown by her 2015 schedule in which she will make her Broadway debut in October 2015, four months after the birth of her first child, as the star of the play "Therese Raquin".
However, fans who are pining to see Keira Knightley on the big screen might want to take advantage of her presence in 2015 in the adventure/drama thriller movie "Everest" and the project "Candy Store" because it seems to some social media movie fans as if she has a plan to expand the size of her family and provide her daughter with a sibling.

In a conversation she had with Elle UK in the summer of 2014 she discussed the frustrating situation of friends who want to have a child and cannot and the toll it takes on both the male and the female. Her comments have some thinking she might be considering expanding her family at this stage of her career rather than later.
Moreover, the film schedule of this Academy Award nominated actress is surprisingly sparse which while understandable for 2015 considering she was pregnant it does not explain the few projects she has lined up for 2016. When one combines her desire for a family which she has just successfully started combined with her appreciation for the challenges of getting pregnant it makes people wonder if she plans to return to acting for a short time and then is prepared to take a break again because of another pregnancy.
It is mere speculation at the moment as Keira Knightley is enjoying being a mother of a baby girl but some fans suspect that her little girl might be receiving some company in the next couple years, a prospect that likely has entertainment publications overjoyed.
