Julianne Moore is reportedly in talks to star as President Alma Coin the third and fourth parts of the Hunger Games franchise, 'Mockingjay Part 1' and 'Mockingjay Part 2'.
Moore has an incredibly impressive resume, and it's clear that the producers and executives behind the Hunger Games franchise want to continue maintaining the phenomenal quality of the films. Although Gary Ross left the franchise after the first film, the producers worked hard to find a suitable replacement and they've certainly seemed to done that with Francis Lawrence.
They also showed fans that they're committed to keeping the films excellent by casting Philip Seymour Hoffman in the role of Plutarch Heavensbee in Catching Fire, and obviously, Julianne Moore would be a fantastic addition to the cast.
Moore was most recently seen in the indie 'The English Teacher' and will next be seen in 'Carrie' alongside Chloe Moretz later this year. Then, she has 'Non-Stop' and 'Seventh Son' in 2013, and then 'Maps to the Stars' coming out in 2014. If she were cast as Coin, she would most likely go into production this fall, when Parts 1 and 2 will be filming simultaneously.
