With the X-Men movie universe growing with every new movie, it does look like we might just have to say farewell to a number of the characters who have impressed over the past few years. We know that there are a few stars who will appear in their third X-Men movie, with the new film X-Men: Apocalypse, which will be the last movie on their X-Men contracts.

Jennifer Lawrence with her Mystique make-up
One of these stars is the very in demand actress Jennifer Lawrence, who plays the role of Mystique in the X-Men movies. It was previously believed that Jennifer would say farewell to the character after her appearance in X-Men: Apocalypse, however she has now suggested that she could well continue playing Mystique in future X-Men films.
Lawrence was chatting to Yahoo! Movies, when she explained, "I want them to ask me, and then I’m just going to see how I feel in the moment when they ask. It might not make a lot of sense to a lot of people, but I feel like I’ll know when they ask. If I get a pit in my stomach and feel like I’m going to throw up, I’ll say no. And if I don’t, I’ll ask how much they want to pay me."

Jennifer Lawrence could continue
It would be a shame if we were to lose Jennifer Lawrence from the X-Men movies, as she has grown into the role of Mystique over the past couple of films, really coming into her own with the character. X-Men: Apocalypse will see Jennifer sharing the big screen with a number of other big name stars, with the movie hitting the big screen on May 19, 2016 in the UK and May 27, 2016 in the US.
