Hollywood superstar Jennifer Lawrence has been in the acting industry for quite a few years now and, while she has given us some fantastic performances, in some brilliant movies along the way, she will forever be remembered for playing the role of Katniss Everdeen in the Hunger Games movies. With The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 set to hit the big screen very soon, Jennifer is preparing to say farewell to Katniss Everdeen for good, something she is not yet ready to do.
Lawrence told WENN, "Having my nephews on the set was so special. They played my children, so it was an amazing closure to this character who I loved for so many years, to have my blood family there. I got to say goodbye to both; but I don't really think I said goodbye to her (character of Katniss)."
She added, "When the movie comes out and we finish the press tour and it's officially done, that's gonna be a pretty weird feeling on a personal level. This movie has been my life for so many years. I feel the impact of being a part of such a huge movie that does so much for so many people. This character is so overwhelmingly supportive of women and is iconic."
We will get to see Jennifer Lawrence taking on the role of Katniss Everdeen for one last time, when the new movie The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 hits the big screen on November 19 in the UK and then on November 20 in the US. It is going to be emotional!
