Jason Bateman and Dustin Hoffman made-out on camera at a LA Lakers game a few years ago and, back then, the gesture shocked quite a few people. Now, they talk about the famous kiss and share what was the real joke behind it.
Bateman and Hoffman, together with Jennifer Anniston and Dame Judy Dench were invited to sit on the couch of “The Graham Norton Show” and, when questioned by the TV-show host about the famous kiss, Hoffman hilariously told the story behind it. The actor explained that it all started when himself and his wife were put on the cam at a game, but that started to happen again and again at every game they attended that followed.
The actor didn’t miss the chance to have some fun about it, putting up for show with his wife to amuse the audience with every game. “But by the seventh or eighth time we’d run out of things to do. We couldn’t top it” said the Hoffman. But he didn’t give up on trying, so, before the next game, at a dinner, he ‘plotted’ together with his wife, Bateman and Bateman’s wife that next time the camera turns to them, he would lean towards his wife and then change the course and kiss Bateman instead.
That seem to have worked back then as a top up, surprising the audience and the cam. Now, to follow the amusing course of the entire event, Hoffman decided that it’s time to come up with something new so he topped it up by suddenly kissing Judy Dench who was sitting next to him on the couch, after Bates mimed kissing a man again, this time the singer Olly Murs, who was also in the studio. It seems that Jennifer Aniston, who is promoting her and Bateman’s new movie “Horrible Bosses 2”, was the only one left without a real or even mimed kiss in this story, but we are sure she doesn’t mind it.
The best part is that you don't even have to take our word for it, you can watch it for yourself on video below along with taking a road on the memory lane and re-watch the famous original kiss.
