Few shows can boast the success that The Simpsons has had. This year, the show celebrates 25 seasons on Fox, and to keep things fresh and interesting, producers have announced it's someone's time to go. Executive Producer Al Jean refused to name names, however, he did give Canada's Sun News a hint:
Hank plays a number of characters on The Simpsons

"I'll give you  clue that the actor playing the character won an Emmy for playing that character, but I won't say who it is."

Granted, that leaves no shortage of characters to choose from, as a total of nine actors have won the Emmy for Individual Outstanding Voice-Over Performance. Still, one of Hank Azaria's characters is solidly in the running. He's won the Emmy for his performances three times - in 1998, 2001, and 2003. UK's 'The Telegrah' gives 3/1 odds that his character Comic Book Guy could be the one getting the ax. Of course, Comic Book Guy isn't Hank's most well-known character on the show. He also voices Moe the Bartender, Carl, Lou, Professor Fink, Superintendent Chalmers, Cletus, and many others on the show.

With new projects coming up, it wouldn't be surprising to see Hank start to scale back his work on the iconic animated sitcom. Last month, the start tweeted to fans that he was beginning work on his "dream project," and that he will also be returning as the voice of Gargamel in the Smurf's sequel, 'The Smurfs: Legend of Smurfy Hollow.'
