It was not too long ago when comic book movie fans were venting their anger at the news that actress Gal Gadot had been cast in the role of Diana Prince aka Wonder Woman in the DC Extended Universe, with many insisting that she would not be up to the role. However, following her appearance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, followed by the impressive standalone Wonder Woman movie, and now the Justice League film, it seems that she has now become one of the best things about the DCEU.
With that said though, Gal Gadot has so much more to offer the movie industry than just playing Wonder Woman and, although she is expected to continue reprising the role for many more years to come, she still has other movie projects lined up alongside it. One such new movie, is the upcoming new film Deeper, which looks like it could well be putting together an impressive cast, even if the plot does sound a bit strange.
While those of you who are hardcore Gal Gadot fans will probably already know what to expect from the new movie, we are sure there are plenty more of you who would love to know more. With that in mind, Deeper has been officially described as, "A deep-sea dive turns into an unexpected psychological exploration for a former astronaut who signed up for the mission."
As well as having Gal Gadot on board to play the female lead in the movie, Deeper also boasts another big Hollywood superstar, with Bradley Cooper signed on to play the male lead in the film. The screenplay for Deeper has been penned by Max Landis, while directing duties will belong to Kornél Mundruczó, with the project still awaiting an official release date.
