When it comes to making a movie based on a comic book character, you can be pretty sure that you are not going to be able to please everybody, as there is always some fan somewhere in the world who simply will not allow themselves to be impressed with what is done. However, one of the ways to definitely get the fanboys offside with your movie, is to take one of their characters and to change what they already know about that character.

It has been revealed that the origin story of Cyborg in the Justice League movie is going to be different from that of the source material, which seems to have left a few fans a bit disappointed already, although there are those who are interested to see something different.
The origin of Cyborg reads as, "Part man, part machine, Victor Stone is a former star athlete at Gotham City University. After a horrific car accident nearly cost his life, he was saved when his father, scientist Silas Stone, used an Apokoliptian Mother Box to reconstruct his body. In the process, Silas turned Victor into a human computer, organic with biomechatronic body parts. In other words, a cyborg."

This led to one upset fan to moan, "How can you take a character and change his origin story just like that. Cyborg is one of my favourite characters and I am not happy with the Justice League movie just doing whatever they like with him." However another fan added, "As long as they give us a good movie I am not too bothered about his backstory. Cyborg already has two different backstories already so it doesn't make a big difference to me."
We have to admit that, while we are unsure of the need to change the origin story of Cyborg, we have to agree with the second fan, as we are just hoping that they manage to bring us a great Justice League movie.
Justice League will open on November 17 in both the UK and the US.
