Music superstar Ed Sheeran has become renowned for penning some of the most beautiful songs to ever get released and, following the past success of this hugely talented star, there have been many people questioning how the musician could top what he has already achieved. With Ed working on some new music for his new album, it is certainly going to be interesting to see what he can bring us, with some fans more optimistic than others.
Well it seems that we actually have nothing to worry about, as it sounds like the new Ed Sheeran album is actually going to bring us some of his very best work to date. Ed has been talking about his new songs and his new album, insisting that the fans are in for a treat, as he believes some of the songs on the new record are among the best he has ever written.
Sheeran explained, "I felt that with the first album, I remember thinking I would never write a song as good as A Team. And then Thinking Out Loud came, and I was like, 'Oh, OK, well maybe it's not impossible. So going into this album, there was no worry at all because I knew I'd done it before. It's not like Thinking Out Loud will be the peak of my career. It's definitely happened on this album. There's definitely one that's better."
We find it hard to imagine how Ed Sheeran could possibly come up with new songs that are better than the best songs he has already written and released but then again, there are many stars who continue to release smash hit after smash hit and Ed Sheeran is certainly up there among the best songwriters on the planet. We cannot wait to hear these new songs.
