WWE wrestling star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has enjoyed plenty of success in Hollywood, since he decided to try his hand at the acting game, and things are just going to continue to get bigger and better for the superstar. There have been plenty of rumours, for many years now, about Dwayne playing a superhero in a comic book movie, before it was finally confirmed that he will actually be playing the DC villain Black Adam.
There have been many fans questioning what we can expect to see from Dwayne Johnson as Black Adam, as well as how the character is going to be introduced into the DC Extended Universe, and the actor is always more than happy to talk about the project. Now, Dwayne has spoken about the approach they are taking with Black Adam, suggesting that some people will actually see the character as a hero.
Johnson took to social media to say, "Great BLACK ADAM⚡️questions from our Q&A. All depends on how you interpret the word "hero". Growing up the DC villains were always my "heroes". As evil as they were, they were always my favorite. Still are. Luthor, Joker, Brainiac, Sinestro etc.. and of course the ruthless one, Black Adam. Cooking up some cool, bad ass and fun plans with DC to introduce Black Adam into the Universe. More to come. Great questions. #RockQAndA #BlackAdam⚡️ * link in my bio."
It is certainly going to be interesting to see exactly how they do introduce Black Adam to the DCEU, since there have been suggestions of the character co-starring in a Shazam! movie, as well as the claims that he will have a cameo in another DC movie first, not to mention the talk of there actually being a Black Adam solo movie. We guess we will just have to wait and see what they decide.
