There was once a time when supermodel Cindy Crawford was seen as one of the biggest and best models in the business, working with pretty much all of the top names you could possibly think of. At the age of 51, Cindy is still as stunning as ever but, while her time at the top of the modelling industry has come to an end, she is passing the torch to her daughter.
We have already seen some modelling work from 15-year-old Kaia Gerber and the young model is now preparing to make the move into walking in fashion shows, something which Cindy Crawford is very excited about. Cindy has admitted that she will be chaperoning her daughter and that she will give her as much advice as she possibly can along the way.
Crawford was talking about the upcoming fashion shows, when she said, "Well, I'm chaperoning her. I'm not gonna be at every show, but I hope she understands how exhausting your first show can be. My advice to her--and it would be the same if she was going off to college or taking a job in a clothing store -- is be on time, be professional, don't be a diva, get off your phone. You're around these incredibly talented people, soak up information, listen, watch, keep your eyes open, be present, and enjoy it. Have fun. It's fashion."
As well as all of that, Cindy Crawford also went on to claim that there is so much more focus on the models in the business these days than there was in her day, due to the huge use of social media. Well we can't argue with that.
