Christina Hendricks is best known for her role Joan Harris in 'Mad Men', but she's slowly starting to build her film career. She's currently filming Ryan Gosling's directorial debut 'How To Catch A Monster', and she's now in talks to star in another film, 'Measure Of A Man'.

The film's a coming-of-age drama, and was actually written by the same scribe who wrote 'A Single Man'. The film is set in the 1970s, and focuses on a 'bullied teen negotiating the challenging path to manhood under the guidance of a reclusive Wall Street executive who gives him a summer job.'
Hendricks is in talks to play the boy's mother, and her role in the film is supposedly pretty strong. If Hendricks signs on, she will have to go from filming 'How To Catch A Monster' to filming this one in Connecticut and New York for the rest of the summer, before returning to the set of 'Mad Men' in the fall.

Hendricks also has several other films in various stages of production, including 'Seconds of Pleasure' in pre-production, 'A Book Of Common Prayer' in pre-production, and 'God's Pocket' in pre-production. But despite all of these films, you can always catch her on 'Mad Men'.
