Carly Rae Jepsen covers the new issue of Seventeen Magazine, and in the accompanying interview, she waxes poetic about what a great role model Justin Bieber is, despite being many years younger to her pop mentor.

When talking about Justin, she says, “Justin Bieber leads by example. I love that he works hard and has fun. I was in Paris promoting my new album, Kiss, for three days with no time off. So I went out at four in the morning to go explore the entire city. I try to make moments happen that feel very special and memorable because that's exactly how Justin does it."
Of course, Justin is not the only special man in her life – she also talks about her boyfriend, Matthew Koma, saying, “When you meet the right person, you're just like, Wow! I'm having the busiest year of my life and somehow I've met an amazing person who has been a grounding force. I don't think anything can get in the way if you both really want it badly."

While it’s definitely true that Carly’s career is owed to Justin Bieber, she has made a strong name for herself in the past year, with her single ‘Call Me Maybe’ breaking records and becoming one of the most played videos on Youtube worldwide. Although her relationship to her boyfriend is relatively new, it’s great that she still looks up to and supports Bieber, especially with so many scandals surrounding him over the past couple of months.
