There have been some interesting trends in Hollywood over the years but we have to admit that the most baffling one to us in recent years, is the constant insistence on making Hollywood movies based on video games, with so many more lined up for the next few years. The reason this does not make any sense to us, is due to the fact that video game movies very rarely do well both at the box office or with the fans, so why keep making them.

Anyway, there has been talk of an Uncharted movie being made for many years now, with so many different people being attached to the film, which now finally seems to be moving forward and getting very close to becoming a reality. It has already been confirmed that we are going to see British Spider-Man actor Tom Holland taking on the lead role of Drake in the Uncharted movie, and now it looks like another big name star has joined the cast.
It has been reported that former Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston has signed on to play a major supporting role in the Uncharted movie, although it has not yet been made clear exactly which role he will be taking on. Some have suggested that it could be the role of mentor Sully, while others have claimed that it will be in the role of the villain of the movie. However neither of these have yet been confirmed.

So that is two big name Hollywood stars on board, in the form of Tom Holland and Bryan Cranston, for the Uncharted movie, which is set to be directed by Shawn Levy, based on the screenplay that has been written by Joe Carnahan. There is no word yet when the Uncharted film will begin to shoot or when it will be released but we will keep you updated on what happens.
