Britt Robertson has been in a lot of TV shows over the past few years, and most of them have not managed to stay on air more than a couple of seasons. Robertson headlined both Life Unexpected and The Secret Circle for the CW, both of which performed decently but didn't get renewed past two seasons [The Secret Circle only made it past one season]. However, her latest show, called 'Under the Dome' looks like it may break that trend and finally make Robertson a star.
The show, which will be airing on CBS starting in late June, is about a small town in Maine that suddenly finds itself cut off from the rest of the world by an invisible barrier, without anybody being able to explain what led to the barrier itself. The series comes with a A-list pedigree, as it's being produced by Steven Spielberg and it's a Stephen King adaptation.
Robertson plays a character called Angie, a young waitress who aspires to get out of the small town she's grown up her old life in. In addition to Robertson, the cast includes Rachelle Lefevre, Colin Ford, Mike Vogel, Dean Norris, and Natalie Martinez.
The show will premiere on CBS on June 24th, and you can catch the 'Say Goodbye' promo for the show below.
