There were not many times over the years that former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson let a player slip through his fingers but, when it comes to the 22-year-old French midfielder, that is exactly what happened. Paul Pogba was allowed to let his contract run down at Old Trafford and leave the club on free, joining Italian giants Juventus, where he has been shining for the past few seasons.
Paul Pogba in his Manchester United days

Paul Pogba has now become hot property, with the biggest clubs all over the world showing an interest in him, with a transfer fee of around £60m being thrown about. English Premier League title contenders Manchester City have been heavily linked with Paul Pogba but it likes like they just might miss out on the player, who now looks set to join Spanish giants Barcelona.

With that said, Barcelona do currently have a transfer ban, which would mean that Paul Pogba would definitely not be able to join them this Summer, although there have been talks of a deal being agreed for the player to join them next year, when the transfer ban is listed. That means we would see Paul Pogba spending another season in Serie A before making the switch to La Liga.
Will Paul Pogba leave Juventus?
Will Paul Pogba leave Juventus?

It will be interesting to see whether Paul Pogba would be willing to stay at Juventus for another season or if he does actually want to leave now. If the latter is the case, then Manchester City just might have a glimmer of hope in pulling off a very big Summer signing, boosting their chances of winning the title next season.
