Stunning model Ashley Graham has come in for some criticism over the years, following her remarks that she does not like to refer to herself as a plus-size model, which has led to a lot of big women giving her some stick about it. However, Ashley has insisted that she did not mean any offence by it and is proud to be a role model for plus-size women.

Graham was talking to Cosmopolitan magazine, when she explained, "Just because I'm not calling myself plus size doesn't mean I'm not representing a woman who is. I'm giving curvy women a seat at a table that we've never been invited to before - a table with high-end fashion people who have never considered us beautiful.''
While Ashley Graham is clearly proud to be representing the curvy women around the world, it does not mean that she has not come in for some stick from the nasty Twitter trolls. Ashley is married to Justin Ervin and she has revealed how she has experienced some nasty comments for her interracial relationship.

Graham added, "One comment on Instagram was 'I knew a girl her size could only be with a black guy.' I think that's so ugly. But we talk about the fact that I'm white and he's black all the time. I've seen how racist America is. It's opened my eyes to how ignorant I have been, how white privilege has taken over a lot of my thoughts and actions because it's just something that I take for granted."
Ashley Graham has been leading the way for plus-size models and has been breaking down barriers on the modelling scene. It has been great to see what a positive impact this has been having and the rise in success of the plus-size models. Keep up the good work, Ash!
