Every star has to start somewhere and, while there are a few rare occasions where someone is thrown straight into superstardom, most of the stars have to work their way to the top and build their careers up. That is exactly what the beautiful and talented Ariana Grande has done, going from a young child star from our television screens, growing into one of the biggest stars on the music scene today.

Ariana Grande doing her thing on stage
Ariana Grande started her career back in 2010, when she appeared in the role of Cat Valentine in the hit Nickelodeon television series Victorious, where she showed that she had both acting talent and a great singing voice. Ariana appeared in 57 episodes of Victorious, before Nickelodeon decided to give her her very own television series, appearing alongside Jennette McCurdy in Sam & Cat.
While her Sam & Cat co-star Jennette McCurdy began to make the headlines for all the wrong reasons, Ariana Grande decided that the time was right to make her assault on the music industry and it did not take long for her to get huge recognition. Many people instantly began comparing her voice to that of a young Mariah Carey and Ariana has not looked back, going on to enjoy huge success and become a global superstar.

Ariana Grande in her Nickelodeon days
Ariana Grande released her debut album Yours Truly in 2013, which spawned the hit single The Way, before really hitting the big time with her second album My Everything in 2014, which gave us hits including Break Free, Problem, Bang Bang, and Love Me Harder. Ariana has proved that she has what it takes to mix it with the best that the music industry has to offer and, at the age of just 21, we expect to see plenty more of her in the coming years.
