With the new DC and Warner Bros. movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice just a few more days away from its big release, we are already hearing plenty of rumours regarding the future Warner Bros. and DC movies and what we can expect to see from them. While most of the talk has been about the Wonder Woman film, we are now getting more and more information about the Aquaman movie and the Justice League film.
There have been a few rumours over the past few weeks and months, that we are going to see actress Amber Heard playing the role of Mera in both the Aquaman movie and the Justice League film, which have since been confirmed. For those of you unfamiliar with the comic books, Mera is the partner of Aquaman, so she is bound to have a pretty kick ass costume, if the Aquaman one is anything to go by.
As well as confirming the reports that she has been cast in the role of Mera for the new DC movies, Heard also spoke about the costume her character would be wearing and what we can expect from it, "It’s interesting. It’s like, half suit of armor, half scales. It’s strange… We’re in the process of building it now, so it’s coming along," explained the 29 year old actress.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is set to hit the big screen on March 25, with Justice League Part One opening on November 17, 2017, followed by Aquaman on June 28, 2018, and then Justice League Part Two arriving on June 14, 2019. We cannot wait!
