When you are a woman working in the entertainment industry there is always a lot of pressure on them to always look good, with perfect hair and perfect make up. Music superstar Alicia Keys has always been an advocate for not wearing any make up and she has again opened up about the pressures to look good.
Keys shared, "It can seem silly, but I think that many of us are caught in this trap. We worry about what the others are thinking about us, and we forget to think by ourselves. Actually, this is not only about using make-up or not. It is more about living, being as you feel really comfortable and exploring all of it."
As well as talking about the constant pressure to always look good, Alicia Keys also went on to talk about her love of Brazil, where she will be performing at the Rock in Rio again this month. Alicia says that she loves the energy of the country and how they know how to express themselves.
Keys added, "Brazil is a country with plenty of soul, electricity, vibe and culture. When I go back there again, I think it will be the same, the same kind of love and celebration energy. That's what I feel about the country, one of the places I saw in the world where the people really know how to express their feelings."
We actually think that there are a huge amount of women in the world who actually look a lot better when they are not wearing make up, so we completely agree with what Alicia Keys has to say on the subject.
