It is fair to say that Funny or Die have brought us some of the funniest videos on the internet over the years and they are showing no signs of slowing down any time soon, as their latest video has proven. Funny or Die recently released their brand new video, which is a spoof movie trailer for a project titled The Merge, starring Australian actress Abbie Cornish in the lead role.

When it comes to doing spoofs, Funny or Die hit the nail on the head every time and they have done so once again with this Corporate Media Merger Apocalyptic thriller of a spoof. The video is officially described as "Abbie Cornish navigates a post-apocalyptic hellscape patrolled by an unstoppable corporate-media juggernaut bent on world domination."
As well as having Abbie Cornish in the video, The Merge was made as Eliza Skinner wrote and also acted, Will Hines acted on the project, Colton Dunn was a scout, Ian Pfaff as director and editor, Jason Carden was a producer, Sean Dacanay acted as 1st AD/Coordinator, Aaron Ulrich was the DP, keganswyers brought the visual effects, Jessica Leigh Schwartz was on hair and make up, and BoTown Sound doing the sound, obviously. Abbie Cornish will next appear in Solace
As for the actual serious acting career of Abbie Cornish, she can next be seen, starring alongside Colin Farrell, Anthony Hopkins and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, in the movie Solace, which is directed by Afonso Poyart and is expected to hit the big screen in both the US and the UK, sometime later in the year, although any official release dates have yet to be confirmed.
